Volunteering

Organizations I’m volunteering for this year include:

Monterey Bay Aquarium: Sea Otter Research and Conservation (SORAC)
The sea otter is an endangered species so there is a federal recovery plan for California’s sea otters that’s designed to help the species flourish. The Sea Otter Research and Conservation program is directs all its efforts to support the recovery plan. As an otter care volunteer at the aquarium, I get to take care of injured and/or orphaned sea otters.

VietHope
VietHope is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to Vietnam’s socioeconomic development by supporting the education of financially disadvantaged Vietnamese children.
